Who is Sequoia
Sequoia Academy is a growing team of more than a dozen prophetic people. We promote the ministry of all believers, and the gifts of the Holy Spirit available to empower every Christian for the work of ministry.
Sequoia Academy is a prophetic response to the rapid decline of churches caused by emphasis on platforms, events, solo leadership, and the absence of lay leadership and the Holy Spirit.
Behind the scenes at Sequoia Academy we have a prophetic company of a dozen people. Our model of shared leadership is emerging, along with our response to the uncertain church age we are now encountering. On our Facebook page we publish governance-level prophetic words that have a wide general application.
The Journey
Retreat to advance the kingdom
Sequoia Academy’s destiny workshop, The Journey, was offered for the first time at Unity Studios, Penrith, in the second half of 2024. It is a progressive retreat format, where we create a Sabbath Saturday once a month for five sessions. Lives are turned around as we immerse ourselves in God’s direction for our spiritual lives.
Sequoia Academy is open to invitations to offer The Journey in communities west of the Blue Mountains.
